ACMB-the real solution to nuisance organic vapours.(1)ACMB is the abbreviation of Active Carbon Melt-Blown which is loaded with heavy-duty charcoal, flexible, soft, and very efficient against vapours and bad odors.
Usually, the charcoal pre-filter is proceeded by mixing charcoal and resin. So the charcoal can be fixed still on the non-woven substrate with the glue of resin. However, the resin will close the pore of the surface of the charcoal. Then, the adsorption ability of charcoal will be decreased seriously.
San Huei utilizes the technology of protruding the melt-blown fibers to develop the resin-free ACMB Active Carbon Melt-Blown pre-filter. Our ACMB is to mix the charcoal particles with the melt-blown fibers. The charcoal particles have point contact with the melt-blown instead of the resin. Therefore, its adsorption ability will not be decreased by the resin. And we can load heavy-duty charcoal to achieve an excellent performance. The ACMB Comparison Test proves that the new SH3710C which uses ACMB pre-filter can achieve 6 times better than the old SH3710C which uses the traditional Active Carbon pre-filter. (2)An Introduction to EN149:2001 Since June 2001, the European Standard for particulate respirators has be changed from EN149:1991 to EN149:2001. The major change in EN149:2001 is that all particulate respirator will have to provide protection against solid (non-oil) and liquid (oil) aerosols. That is, the S (solid) class and SL (solid and liquid) class have been combined into three categories only-FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3. Your selection will be easier because each respirator covers a wider range of applications.
San Huei obtained EN149:2001 through the notified body BSI (CE 0086) in July 2001 and the new products cover the full range of EN149:2001-FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3. It is our best intention to provide the up-to-date quality products for our customers.

Our laboratory contains the most modern equipment available, including electron-microscope capability and the latest filtration testing equipment to measure the filtration efficiencies of sub-micron particles per U.S. and European standards. As a result, our productin center has been granted certificates of approvals with ISO-9002, ISO-14001, European EN149, U.S. NIOSH, and Australia AS1716.

Innovation/Improvement Details
We are the first mask manufacturer in Taiwan/China who is able to produce the high filtration filter media conforming to EN149, NIOSH, and AS1716 requirements. The related testing machines are also available in house. These can ensure that we can follow the latest International Standards to develop the new products.
