WLC's loose tube cable consists of acrylate coated fibers placed loosely in a gel-filled thermoplastic tube. 12 fibers are respectively colored (under 48 fibers cable, 12 fibers are respectively colored 72 to 96 fibers cable). Required number of loose tubes and fibers are stranded around non- metallic center member, followed by water blocking filling and aramid yarn. Then a water absorbing tape shell is applied. The outer sheath is black polyethylene. Such cable is well applied to be installed parallel with high-voltage cables.
