Thermal lamination films
Thermal lamination film is produced through the extrusion coating process where the adhesive is applied to the film. The film is supplied in dry roll form. The adhesive is heat reactivated during the lamination process and applied with a combination of temperature, pressure and speed.
In this way thermal lamination film is highly efficient, easier to operate and able to overcome many of the shortfalls of wet lamination
There are two types:
Glossy - Clear as glass, shiny, superb finish. Laminated output becomes simply brilliant; the color literally jumps off the page.
Matte - Glare-free, soft look, slightly granular texture. Most matte laminating film feature write-on capabilities due to its slightly granular texture and a frosted glare free finish.
