Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose---HPMC
1.0 Description
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether obtained by a series of chemical processing using natural polymer materials (purified cotton) as a raw material. HPMC is an odorless, non-toxic, odorless white powder that dissolves in cold water to form a clear, viscous solution, with good water retention, thickening, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelation, surface activity and protective colloids. The products are widely used in waterborne coatings, interior and exterior wall putty powder, thermal insulation mortar series and other product systems.
