Float valve stabilizer is mainly used in near bit type stabilizer while working for preventing from borehole deflection, when blowout or well kick takes place, the float valve stabilizer will automatically shut off inside bore of tool or avoid the accident, the tool owns features such as high strength, large flowing area, high temperature resistant and high pressure resistant , etc.

Construction

There are two kinds of Float valve stabilizer, one is downhole type, connected with the upper part of the drill bit; the other is drill string type, connected with the drill string. It plays the role not only as a stabilizer but also anti-clongging valve role in controlling dowhole liquid flowing.
