III. Application:
Hypophosphorous acid is usually used as a reducing agent for chemical
plating, medicine, and as a hypochromic-antioxidant for resin, a fire
retardant and plasticizing agent, an uvioresistant agent for textile. It may
be prepared for various kinds of hypophosphorates.
