Technobasalt was established and started its production in 2004 in Slavuta and since that became a real leader in Continues Filaments Basalt Fibers production and now can offer full range of basalt fiber and chopped basalt fiber products. The capacity of plant allows providing commercial quantities of those products to customer all over the world.
Basalt roving has superior technical characteristics comparing to glass fiber and E-glass fiber
and can be used as substitute to them. Due to its comparatively low price it could be a good
replacement for carbon and aramide fibers in some applications.
