B & Z Plastic Industry Sdn. Bhd. came into inception in December 1993. The company was formed by two enterprising entrepreneurs, Dato' Dr. Zahrah A. Kadir, Managing Director and Dr. Bajuri Kadmin, Executive Director. From humble beginnings, it started operations in a rented factory at Seri Kembangan industrial Park , Selangor Darul Ehsan, In 1998, the factory has moved to its owned premises 3 acres in size at Kuala Selangor Industrial Park and established a marketing office at Wisma B & Z, Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

B & Z initial involvement in plastic material product started with the manufacturing of uPVC Rain Gutter, fittings and downpipe system which was marketed under the brand name "Monsoon".

This high-tech rain gutter system was designed after conducting a thorough research & development on Malaysian weather and climatic conditions. It is utilizing the latest manufacturing technology from Europe. This innovative Monsoon Rain Gutter System is made from specially formulated vinyl polymer, making it durable and excellent for outdoor use. The design was patented in 1993 and have gained recognition by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). Due to this recognition and outstanding design, the company was awarded with "Product Excellence Award" in1995 by MITI.

After experiencing initial stage of success in the rain gutter system, B & Z began its ambitious diversification exercise in 1996. Plastic based products such as Telecommunication Duct and Cable Slab were manufactured to serve the demand of Telecommunication and Electrical Industry. In the new millenium, Pressure Pipes and Permanent Formwork were manufactured to meet the demand of the water industry and the infrastructure industry, respectively. We have engaged into research and development on new products and new markets in our expansion programmes.

Today, B & Z Plastic Industry boasts an employee of 65 people who are actively involved in all facets of the company's activities. Our ability to develop dedicated , experienced and skilled workforce is a clear testimony of the company's well planned and organized strategies to further expand its future business capability.

Quality control and product innovation is given main emphasis in the company. Our quality policy achieving customer satisfaction through supplying quality products and providing consistent quality services is clearly and visibly demonstrated. Using these as its driving force, the company had so far achieved tremendous success in its business endeavors. Our confidence lies in our quality and firm belief in the adage "Quality Pays". MS ISO 9002 recognition by SIRIM in May 1999 was the greatest achievement by the company to implement highest and prestige quality system through high commitment by each of the employees in B & Z Plastic Industry Sdn Bhd.

Upvc plastics has been associated with B & Z since the success of the innovative 'Monsoon' Rain Gutter System which has won the 'Product Excellence Award' in 1995 recognition by MITI. Eversince then, B & Z Plastic Industry Sdn Bhd is a key player in the plastic industry and a role model in the SME environment. This is evident with the achievement of ' Excellence Entrepreneur Award' (1996), 'Commendable Company Award' (1996 & 1997) and 'Enterprise 50 Award' (1997, 1999, and 2002) , 'Excellence Technology Award 1999' , and Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor ICT Innovation Award 2002.
